Terms of sale
Last updated: [date of publication]
These terms apply when you buy a PreclinIQ licence from Dr. Ambuj Shahi (“the Publisher”), [address], India. Use of the software is governed by the End-User Licence Agreement.
1. What you buy
A licence to use PreclinIQ on one computer for one year from the start date in your licence key. The licence includes all version 1.x updates released during that period and email support.
2. Price and taxes
The launch price is ₹5,500 per computer per year in India, or US$59 elsewhere. [State whether prices include GST, and your GSTIN if registered.] Prices may change for future purchases; a licence you have already bought is not affected.
3. Payment
Payment is made online through Razorpay (in rupees by UPI, card, net banking or wallet; in US dollars by international card) or, for institutions, by bank transfer against a quotation or proforma invoice.
4. Delivery
The software for Windows and Mac is downloaded from this website. After payment verification, an administrator issues your licence key. It is then saved in your account, with an email notification when available. Enter the key in PreclinIQ on the computer matching the Machine ID to activate it. For bank transfers, send the licence request from the program (or email your Machine ID to admin@precliniq.com); we email your licence key within [2 working days] of receiving the payment.
5. Changing computers
[Decide your policy, e.g.: If you replace your computer during the licence period, email us and we will issue a key for the new computer once, free of charge.]
6. Renewal
Licences do not renew automatically. Before your licence ends, you can buy a renewal; the new period starts the day after the current one ends. If you do not renew, PreclinIQ still opens and exports your data, but editing is paused.
7. Refunds
See our refund and cancellation policy.
8. Liability
Our liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the licence, to the extent permitted by law. See also the warranty and liability sections of the licence agreement.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [your city] have jurisdiction.
